Ley lines and planetary grids have never been detected by any recognized geophysical method; those alignments are historical claims, first popular in 1920s Britain and revived by later dowsers and grid theorists. The Dragon Veins and Inca Ceque System sit in a different category — real, independently documented traditions of sacred geography, not retrospective pattern-matching — though feng shui's qi and the Incas' own cosmology are still not physics. What is real, in every case, is the site pinned on the map — this atlas exists to catalogue the claims honestly, not to launder any of them as fact.
